My Final 2015 Blog

The highlights of this year was winter sport, cricket tournament ,  writing our persuasive arguments, speech competition , living springs camp,  being in a year 5/6 class.

SLC

I felt my SLC went well because I talked clearly and knew what I was doing.

My favourite part was sharing my writing because I was really confident and I like writing.

This year I feel I have improved in my maths with ratios and fractions because I did not know much at the start.

In 2016 I want to improve on my writing because I can not really do persuasive arguments as well as I would like to.

Title: underwater adventure.
Author: Willard Price.
Genre: non-fiction .
Settings: the boat the sea and the hut.
Characters: Hal ,Roger,Blake and skink.
Plot : they are trying to find some treasure but some are trying to block it off so they can't get it.
My fav part was when Blake had a scorpion in his helmet when swimming.

Narrative Study

Title: The Quest.

Author: Leith Cooper.

Genre:Short Story.

Settings: Abandoned sports stadium.

Characters: lonely old man.

Plot: The lonely old man can't find his very important false teeth that he lost at a football game.

Fav: when he finds his object and it lets us down by the false teeth.

What: i have been learning to do cursive.
So what: I feel I can do cursive but I need to practice a bit more. I am proud of how I link my letters.
Now what: my next step is to improve my letters on the in the book and make them so I can read them.

Burst

Feeling tired take a break
What: I am self managing myself.
So what: I have learned to go for a burst because my hand gets sore when I write.
Now what: to go out more times because I normally go out 1 or 2 times a day.

Air force museum

Today we went to the Wigram  air force museum, wehad a instucter called Chris he was wearing a nair force suit. We had a lesson with him and ascavenger hunt around the whole air force museum. I have one more to go tell i have completed it , we only went tell 12:30 it felt like the whole day.
